Your Stay at
The Buddle Inn…

Wake up to the sounds of the sea at one of the Isle of Wight’s oldest inns.

OUR NEW ROOMS

Situated at the heart of Niton Undercliff on the most southerly point of the Island, the 18th century Buddle Smugglers Inn offers four charming rooms above a cosy character pub below. Stylishly decorated, each room has been renovated to a high standard, with sumptuous beds and modern bathroom facilities making for a comfortable stay. Guests can look forward to a hearty breakfast in the morning as included in your stay, made from the best locally sourced ingredients. Car parking is available.

A popular spot for a drink and a bite, the popular pub below offers a tasty seasonal menu and warm Island hospitality. Characterised by its flag stone flooring, oak beams overhead, The Buddle Inn offers a roaring log fire for the winter months and a sunny terrace for when the sun is shining. Enjoy live acoustic music on weekends (until 9pm) and a delicious roast on Sunday. Booking is recommended for lunch and dinner. (not included in stay)

An idyllic spot to relax and reconnect with nature, The Buddle Inn is surrounded by footpaths and trails through the unspoiled Island landscape. Discover routes from Niton onwards to Ventnor, Blackgang, St Catherine’s Oratory, Chale and beyond, as well as a short walk down to St Catherine’s Lighthouse – a beautiful working lighthouse surrounded by rural farmland and trails.

Muddy boots and paws are very welcome at The Buddle Inn, with dog-friendly dining in the pub and dogs permitted in rooms when arranged in advance of your stay.
